Tinday(Apple gourd) ki sabzi

Tinday ki sabzi is very tasty and beneficial for health. It is very mild and soothing for intestinal tract.
It has fiber which help in digestion and diarrhea by increased water absorb and help in stomach acidity. Its nice vegetable for summer season.

Ingredients :
Tinday ki sabzi

  • 250 gms. chopped tinday(Apple gourd)
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/ tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala 
  • 5-7 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds 
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • chopped coriander leaves for garnish 
Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds,curry leaves and onion saute for half minute and add chopped Tinday and salt, cook  for 5-7 minutes. Now, add all spices powder and tomato puree and cover it with lid for 2-3 minutes and let it cook till it tenders and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with Rotis, Rice and any dishes.
