Simla mirchi aur bhutte ( Capsicum with sweet corn) ki sabzi

Ingredients : 
Capsicum with sweet corn 
  • 250 gm. chopped capsicum
  • 1 small bowl sweet corn ( bhutte, makai daana)
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 large onion paste 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 bay leaf 
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves for garnish
Method :
    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add chopped capsicum, stir- fry for 5 minutes, remove on a plate and keep aside. Now again heat oil, add cumin, bay leaf, cinnamon stick and onion saute for 1 minute and add onion and garlic paste, salt, all spices powder and after 1 minute, add tomato puree stir for 5 minutes. Now, add in the masala, corn and stir fry capsicum and mix well. After 5-7 minutes it remove from the heat and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with Rotis,Rice and paratha.
