Mushroom handi recipe (special dish)




Mushroom Handi 
Ingredients :
  • 200 gm. mushroom
  • 1 large and chopped capsicum 
  • 1 onion paste
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 green cardamom 
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • chopped coriander leaves for garnish 
Method :
Wash mushroom in warm water and chop into four parts. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add chopped capsicum -mushroom saute it for 5-7 minutes and put out side in a plate. Now again heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin,bay leaves,cloves, green cardamom,cinnamon stick and chopped onion saute for 1 minute. Now, add onion, ginger paste, salt and all spices powder saute for 5-10 minutes on the medium flame. Add mushroom-capsicum saute for 2 minutes and add 1/2 bowl water and cover with lid for a minute and remove from  gas and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with Rice, chapatis,paratha and pulao.
