Beans- aloo ki sabzi

Ingredients :

  • 250 gms. chopped beans 
  • 4 medium size boiled chopped potatoes 
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 bowl water
Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, mustard seeds, bay leaves and let it crackle and then add chopped onion. Now after 1 minute add chopped beans, salt and saute for 5 minutes till the beans are fried. Now add boiled potatoes saute for 2 minutes and add all spices(masala) and tomatoes saute for 5 minutes. Now add water and cover of the pan and let it cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes. Serve with Rice and Rotis.
