Jeera Rice with green peas and carrot's recipe

 Ingredients :

  • 2 cup Basmati rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tbsp cumin seeds(jeera)
  • 3 tbsp deshi ghee or butter
  • 1 cup fresh  green peas
  • 1/2 cup carrot finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 anise 
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  •  4 green cardamom
  • 4 cloves 
Method :
Wash rice with water 2 times and keep aside for 25-30 minutes. Now heat ghee or butter in a pan, add cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, anise, green cardamom, bay leaves, cloves. Now heat them all wait till they are cracked, add rice and salt and stir it and add 4 cups of water bring to a boil stir 1 time and cover with a lid. After 15 minutes, add green peas and chopped carrot and stir it 1-2 time and cover it with lid. After 8-10 minutes remove the lid and stir. Your rice is ready also you have noticed that all water has been completely absorbed. Serve it with any curry or toor dal.
