Gawar (cluster beans) phali ki easy and tasty sabzi

Gawar sabzi is very tasty and healthy.

Ingredients :
Gawar phali ki sabzi

  • 250 gm. gawar(cluster beans)
  • 3 tomatoes puree 
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp onion paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 4-5 curry leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil 
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves for garnish 
Method :
Wash and de-string the cluster beans and chop into both side. Pressure cook with 1/2 glass of water for 1 whistle. Now open the cooker and drain water  from the cooker. Now, heat oil in a pan, add cumin, mustard seeds, curry leaves and chopped onion fry till golden in color. After, add tomatoes puree, tamarind pulp, all spices powder, and salt saute for 5-7 minutes and add boiled cluster beans stir-fry for 5 minutes and remove from  the heat and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with Rotis, paratha and Rice.
