Aloo- matter (potato with green peace) sabzi recipe

  • 4 pieces aloo (potatoes) boiled 
  • 1 bowl mutter(green peace)
  • 1+1/2 tsp coriander powder(dhaniyan)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder ( lal Mirchi)
  • 1/2 black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masla
  • salt to taste
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 tomatoes puree 
  • 2 onion paste
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  •  2 bays leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin(jeera) seeds
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1+1/2 bowls water

Peel and break potatoes into small pieces.
Heat a tbsp oil in a pan and add potato cubes and green peas and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.  Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, bay leaves and chopped onion, saute for 1 minute. Now, add ginger paste, onion paste, all spices powder, salt stir it for 2 minutes on medium flame and add tomato puree and stir them for 5 minutes after that add stir aloo-mutter till stir it, add water and cover it with lid. After 10 minutes take it out from the flame and your sabzi is ready. Serve it with Roti or paratha or Rice.
