Medu vada recipe

Fried medu vada
Ingredients :
  • 1+1/2 cup split black gram skinless 
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped green chillies 
  • salt to taste
  • 10-12 chopped curry leaves
  • Oil for deep frying
Method :
Soak urad dal in water for 5-6 hours.
Drain and grind the urad dal into a fine past of dal. Transfer in big bowl, add chopped onion, chopped green chillies, salt, chopped curry leaves and mix it well. Now heat sufficient oil, take a make a small
 ball of batter and make a hole with the finger in the center. Deep fry it in the medium hot oil until it turns golden-brown. Now take it out on plate and serve with coconut chutney and sambher.
