Kaddu (pumpkin)sabzi recipe

Ready pumpkin sabzi
Ingredients :

  • 1/2 kg. kaddu(pumpkin)chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar or jaggery 
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped 
  • 2 chopped green chilly
  • 7-8 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp panchforana( cumin,fenugreek,carom seeds,sounf,kalonji seeda)
  •  chopped coriander leaves
 Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add panchforna, chopped garlic, chilly, curry leaves. Now drop the chopped pumpkin and add turmeric, chilly powder, salt, sugar or jaggery and stir it, cover with lid and let it cook on a low flame. Now after 5 minutes stir and cover again. Keep doing this until the sabzi is dry. After the sabzi is dry, remove it from heat and garnishing with coriander leaves or mint leaves.Serve with rice or roti.
