Jack-fruit kofta curry recipe

For kofta,


Cooked jack-fruit kofta
Ingredients :
  • 500 gm.chopped jack-fruit (Boiled and peeled)
  • 1/3 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup gram flour(Besan)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Oil for fry
For gravy, 
Ingredients :
  • 2 large onion paste
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 Tomatoes puree
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves (Loung)
  • 2 green cardamom 
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1+1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp fresh garam masala home made or other
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • 10-12 cashew nuts paste (kaju)
  • 4 tbsp fresh cream for garnish 
Method :

Fried kofta balls
Take in a large bowl, add boiled and peeled jack-fruit ,rice flour, gram flour, salt and mix all ingredients and make small balls and it put a side. Now, heat oil and fry jack-fruit balls. Now after they turn golden brown 
remove them out of the frying pan.Now, again heat 4 tbsp oil add, cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, 
kofta mixer 
cloves, green cardamom after 30 seconds add, chopped onion mix well. Now add, onion paste after 1 minute add, coriander, turmeric, red chilly powder, salt,garam masala and after 2 minutes add, tomatoes puree and fry for 10 minutes. 



Now add,cashew nuts paste and after 1 minute add, fried jack-fruit kofta stir for a minute and 
turn off the heat . Now, garnish with fresh cream and serve with rice and Roti .
