Mutter -malai (creamy green peas) recipe

Cooked creamy mutter masala 
Ingredients :

  • 500 gm. mutter (green peas)
  • 1 cup carrot paste
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup onion paste
  • 1 cup tomatoes puree
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp butter 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 
  • 2 green cardamom 
  • 2 cloves(loung)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream for garnish
  • some chopped coriander leaves
Method :
Take in a pan and heat butter add, cumin seeds, bay leaves,cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and chopped onion and wait till it goes golden brown then add onion paste, cumin powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder, salt, and after 5 minutes add tomato puree and carrot paste then for 10 minutes stir fry it and at last add garam masala. Now add mutter(green peas) in the masala and cover it with lid on medium flame for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes check your mutter, when the mutter turns soft then remove it from the flame. Garnishing it with fresh cream and chopped coriander leaves.
