Vegetables Uttapam recipe

Ingredients-
Uttapam on the tawa

  • 2 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup split urad dal
  • salt to taste
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 large chopped capcicum
  • 2 large chopped tomatoes
  • 20-25 chopped curry leaves
  • 5 chopped green chilly
  • some chopped coriander leaves
  • some oil
Method: Soak the Rice and dal in of water for 5-6 hrs. Now in a blender, add soak rice-dal and little water and finely blend and make a thick batter. Now add salt in the uttapam batter and mix well. Now heat a  dosa Tawa and grease it with oil. Pour a large spoon of batter and spread it. Now sprinkle chopped all vegetables, leaves and chilly and cook for 2 minutes on the low flame and it split of other side cook again for  2 minutes. Now it remove from the Tawa and serve with coconut chutney.

    Method-
    Sabse pahle Rice aur urad dal ko saath mei 5-6 hrs. ke liye bhigo lenge.Ab bhiga hua rice aur dal ko mixer mei grand kar ke batter bana lenge phir batter mei salt mix karenge.Ab gas on kar ke dosa taawa ko tej aanch per garam kar ke phir uske uper thoda paani ka chhita lagayenge aur dry cloth se taawa ko ponchh lenge,ab aanch ko slow karke uttapam ke batter ko ek smaal bowl se garam taawa ke uper daale ab uske uper thoda -thoda chopped onion,tomatoes,green chilly,curry leaves,capcicum,coriander leaves,black pepper powder ko daalenge,phir uper se 1 tsp oil daal denge aur jab utaapam chaaro side se taawa ko chhodne lage taab uttapam ko ultaa kar len .Ab aanch ko medium kar ke rakhen ab 3 minutes ke baad phir palaat le.Ab gas per se uttapam ko utaar le.Ab uttapam ready ho gayaa uttapam ko coconut ke chutney ke saath kha sakte hain.
