Sev puri or papdi ka recipe


Sev ka puri banane ke liye:

Ingredients -
  • 1+1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)or wheat flour(gehun ka atta)
  • 1/2 cup rawa(semolina)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp onion seeds(kalonji)
  • 1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  • oil for fry
Method : 
In a bowl, add all ingredients and mix 2 minutes with hands. Now, add little-little water and make a dough. Now leave to rest for 30 minutes. Now using a rolling pin, roll out the dough as a roti and prick with a fork all over. Now with the help of cutter, cut out the round shapes. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry until a light golden brown. Now drain on kitchen paper. Serve after cool. 

Method-(In Hindi) 
Ab maida ko guthne ke liye chhan kar burtan mei daal kar usmei salt, ajwain, kalonji, 4 tbsp oil daal kar hand se mix karen. Ab thoda-thoda paani daal kar aata ko roti ke aata se thoda kadak guthen aur 30 minutes ke liye dhak kar chhor den. Ab aata ka balls baana kar roti jaisa beln se bel len.Ab fork se holes kar ke small puri jaisa cutter se caat kar rakhen. Ab gas on kar ke pan mei oil daal kar tej aanch per garam karen aur 1-1 puri oil mei daal kar fry karen aur golden brown hone per oil se baahar nikal len.Ab ready ho gaya sev puri ka puri ab thanda hone ke baad sev puri bana kar kha sakte hain.
