Mooli (Radish) ka tasty paratha recipe

Mooli (Radish) paratha 
Ingredients :

For atta dough,
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • salt 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp carom seeds(ajwain)
  • 2 tbsp oil 

For Paratha filling,

  • 2 pieces grated radish (Mooli)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 turmeric powder 
  • salt to taste
  • 2 chopped  green chillies
  •  1 pinch  Asafoetida(Hing)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp onion seeds (kalonji)
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • oil to shallow fry
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 
Method : 
First making dough, in a large bowl, add dough ingredients and mix well and water add slowly-slowly and make a soft dough and keep aside. Now making paratha  filling, Heat 1 tbsp in a pan, add asafoetida, all seeds, curry leaves, green chillies and crackle. Now add grated radish (Mooli), salt, turmeric and red chilli powder and saute for 5 minutes until the radish is dry and remove from the heat and mix coriander leaves and keep aside for cool. Now take a ball of atta dough and fill radish mixture and making a round ball. Now spread dry atta on the chakla and pat with light hand after rolling round roti or paratha with rolling pin. Now heat tawa and put paratha on the tawa. Now add 1 tbsp oil and frying both sides golden brown and remove from the tawa. Serve with chutney, raita and any pickles.
