Home made khatta-meetha and tasty Tomatoes chutney

Ingredients -

  • 500 gm. Tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp grated garlic-ginger
  • 1 chopped green chilly
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp rai(mustard seeds)
  • 1 tsp panchforana(jeera,sounf,ajwain,kalonji,methi )
  • 1/4 tsp hing(Asafoetida)
  • 1 tsp haldi(turmeric)powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • some water for tomatoes boil
Method -
Sabse pahle gas on kar ke pan mei 2 glass pani (water) daal kar boil karen fir usmei tomatoes ko 5 minutes ke liye daal kar baahar nikal le. Ab tomatoes ko thanda hone ke baad uska chhilka utaar ke chopped kare aur chhilka ko thoda pani daal kar hand mash kar ke chhan ke pulp ko chopped tomatoes mei daal de .Ab
gas garam kar ke pan garam karne ke baad oil daale fir panchforna ,rai daal kar crack hone ke baad garlic-ginger,green chilly,curry leaves daal kar just chopped tomatoes daale.Ab salt,sugar, haldi,chilly powder daal kar pan ko cover kar ke gas flame ko medium per rakhen.Aur bich-bich mei chutney ko larte rahen. Ab last mei garam masala daal kar fir cover kar ke 2 minutes baad cover open kar ke usko achhe se mix kar ke larte rahen jaab tomatoes achhe se puk jaye to gas off kar ke serve karen.
