Hari mirchi (green chilli fried) ka pakoda recipe



Ingredients :
  • 8-10 Big green chillies 
  • 1+1/2 cup gram flour(Besan)
  • salt to taste
  • a pinch of turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda 
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • oil for fry
Method : 
Wash the green chillies well and dry them. Slit them length wise making sure not to cut it in half and leaving about 1/2 inch intact from both ends. In a big bowl, mix besan, salt, Baking soda, turmeric and mix. Now, add water and mix them. Slowly using your hands mix in the rest of the water to make a thick and smooth batter. Heat oil in a pan take the chilli, dip in the batter, coat well. And slowly drop it in the hot oil and fry it golden brown colour, remove on the plate. Serve it snacks time.
