Bathua saag curry ki recipe

Bathua ka saag bahut faida karak hota hai ise alag-alag tarika se                                    
Cooked  bathua ka saag
banaya ja sakta hai.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch bathua ka saag
  • 1+1/2 tbsp cornflour 
  • 4 tbsp tamarind pulp(imli)
  • salt to taste
  • 2 bowls water 
For the tempering : 
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp carom seeds(ajwain)
  • 2 dry red chillies  

Method : 
Wash the bathua saag in water and finely chop it. Now put saag in a pressure cooker and cover it. Cook on the heat until a whistle. Now allow the steam escape before opening the lid and mash the cook saag. Now add in the cooked saag salt, water, tamarind pulp mix and again cook for 5 minutes on the heat for come a boil. Now add cornflour and stir regular for 5 minutes and remove from the heat. Now for the tempering,  heat oil in a pan, add carom seeds, dry red chillies and crackle and transfer in the cooked saag curry and just cover with lid. Serve it hot or cool with rice.

    Sabse pahle bathua ke saag ko saaf kar ke paani se dho kar caat le.Phir cooker mein daal kar gas per rakhen aur 1 siti lagane ke baad gas off kar le. Ab cooker thanda hone ke baad saag ko mash kar ke ab paani, imli pulp aur salt daal kar 5 minutes boiled karen. Ab cornflour ko thoda paani daal kar liquid bana kar daal de aur karchhi se saag ko chalate rahen 5 minutes boiled hone ke baad gas per se utaar le. Ab chhonk lagane ke liye karchhi ya pan mei oil daal kar garam hone ke baad ajwain aur red chilly daal kar brown hone ke baad saag ko chhonk laga len. Ab bathua ka saag ready ho gaya.
