Dhokla besan ka easy recipe

Dhokla is a Gujarati snacks. It is very spongy and tasty. It likes everybody.
  • 5 tbsp gram flour (Besan)
  • 1 tbsp semolina(Rawa, sooji) 
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp Eno (fruit salt) powder
  • 1 pinch turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup of water 
For Tempering (tadka),
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 5 green chillies 
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil
Method : (In English)

In a large bowl, add gram flour,semolina, salt, sugar, turmeric powder and water and mix well. Now add curd and mix them. Add Eno powder and whisk it well. This batter should be little thick. Now heat a pressure cooker with enough water in the bottom. Now grease with a tbsp oil a dhokla round container or vessel  that fits in your presser cooker. Now transfer the prepared batter to this until it is half. Now steam for 10-12 minutes with lid covered, but without whistle. After 12 minutes, turn off the flame. Now cooker itself with lid opened and take it out and keep aside to cool. Now Tempering, heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies and crackle. Now add on the top of the dhokla and cut them into pieces and serve with any chutney.

Ek bartan mei besan ,rawa, sugar,salt, haldi,paani se ghol banaye ab usmei curd dal kar milaye, last mei eno dal kar milaye. Ab cake pan mei oil laga kar usmei dhokla ka ghol dalen. Ab gas per cooker mei 1 glass paani dalkar boil hone ke baad dokla ka bartan dal kar cooker ko siti hata kar cover kar de.Ab 10 minutes
baad gas off kar den.Ab dokla ko cooker se bahar nikal kar blocks mei cut kar le.Ab pan mei oil garam kar ke Rai dal kar crack hone ke baad curry leaves aur green chilly dal kar 30-seconds baad gas off kar de aur tayar dhokla ke uper tadka dal den.Ready ho gaya Dhokla ab ise kisi bhi chutney ke saath kha sakte hain.
