Boondi Raita



Ingredients :
  • 1 bowl curd (Dahi) 
  • 2 tbsp fry boondi
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder 
  • 1 pinch red chilli powder for garnish
For the tempering :
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 pinch asafoetida (Hing)
Method :
In a bowl, add curd, salt, sugar, cumin powder, fried boondi and mix well. Now for tempering, heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and crackle. Now add in the boondi mix curd and sprinkle with 1 pinch red chilli powder. Serve with lunch time.

    mine doesnt usually turn out too good.
    shd try this method, cos i dont usually do the tempering
