Capsicum and rice stir-fried

Ingredients :

  • 1 bowl boiled  rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped capsicum 
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice 
  • 5 chopped garlic cloves 
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 5-8 spinach leaves chopped 
  • 5 Basil leaves chopped 
  • 2 fresh oregano leaves chopped
  •  2 tbsp olive oil or other oil 
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder 



Method-
Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, green chillies, capcicum and saute for 2 minutes. Now add boiled rice, salt and all spices powder and stir for 5 minutes. Now add basil, oregano  and spinach leaves and saute for 1 minute. Now switch off the gas and add lemon juice and mix well. Serve hot with any raita.
