Onion poha(Pressed Rice) Recipe (sweet)

Ingredients-
  • 250gm. poha (pressed rice)
  • 3 tbs sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 1 chopped onion 
  • 2 chopped green chilly
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 
  • 3 tbs oil    
  • Garnish for roasted papad and fry peanuts 
Method :
Wash poha and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan, add all seeds and crackle, add onion, curry leaves, green chilly, saute for 1 minute. Now add poha, salt, sugar,turmeric and it mix well and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes.
Now add garam masala and mix well and remove from the gas. Garnish with papad and peanuts.
